Dear Community,
We turn to you with hearts full of hope and determination. Over the past 10 years, our collective has worked tirelessly to uplift and support our TransGNB, Sex Worker, and QTBIPOC community. For 4 years we have remembered our Lorena Borjas - friend, colleague and community leader. At CITG we have strived to make a difference in the lives of our TransGNB, Sex Workers and QTBIPOC community.
As the only organization led by Latino transgender people, sex workers, migrants, and people living with HIV, we have faced head-on the pressing needs of our community. However, despite our efforts, the challenges of inequality persist. Our community center is a beacon of hope, a safe haven where all are welcome and where love and support abound. Today, CITG actively supports more than 700 members of our community, thanks to the unwavering commitment of an exceptional team and volunteers.
Now we come to you with a call to the legacy that Lorena left us, to be able to continue providing services to our TransGNB, Sex Worker and QTBIPOC communities. In 2024, we have set out to elevate Lorena's legacy. We want to buy our first van to continue what she started one day on the streets of Queens, to be able to carry HIV tests, information, educational and prevention materials to our community activities. Your donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in our ability to continue our vital community work.
Let's honor Lorena's legacy by coming together and ensuring our community remains strong and supported. Please donate today and help us reach our goal. Together, we can keep our community center thriving and reach more people in need.

You can make a difference by donating today to LGBT Center Intercultural Collective Inc. (Colectivo Intercultural TRANSgrediendo) We are a social organization, working to promote and defend human rights and access to comprehensive health care for those who are TransGNB, QBIPOC and Sex Workers. By strengthening the social and cultural expression of diverse, gender-expansive and intersex communities in New York City, we seek to guarantee our well-being and the right to a life free of all types of violence.
Our organization was founded by Lorena Borjas in 2015, and to this day we continue to keep her legacy and struggle alive.
