Help send Ligon Jazz Ensemble to Midwest!
Help send all members of the Ligon Jazz Ensemble to Midwest in Chicago in December!
The Ligon Jazz Ensemble, a group of seventh and eighth graders from Ligon GT Magnet Middle School in southeast Raleigh, has been selected, by audition, to perform at the 73rd Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic in Chicago, Illinois. In the 73 years of the clinic, the Ligon Jazz Ensemble (LJE) is only the 4th North Carolina Band to receive this distinction and one of only two middle school bands in the country to be invited this year.
All funds raised for the Ligon Jazz Ensemble through this campaign will support the education, performances, and activities of the Ligon Jazz Ensemble as it prepares and travels to the Midwest Clinic. We want to ensure that all band members receive the support they need to prepare for the trip and that they are then all able to travel to Chicago to perform and make the most of their time in Chicago. Your support will help fund necessary expenses to allow us to continue to build and grow the band.
