A small Dachshund mix gave birth to six puppies on the property of an extreme drug addict. A LBDR volunteer was going to the visit location & noticed that there were six puppies without their mother. After searching the woods for hours, they found a small dog, now named Gloria, hiding under bushes. The owner’s other dog had attacked her when she had given birth. Gloria and all six puppies were safely brought to our volunteers home and have been recovering slowly.
Gloria is not letting anyone touch her but will eat out of a hand.
Gloria had her eye removed last week and is recovering nicely. Her wounds are healing and she is on antibiotics to treat them. There are 6 puppies; 3 males and 3 females. We need funds for Gloria's emergency bills & the care for the puppies.
We are looking for a foster for Gloria and her six puppies were they will be inside, warm and cared for. Everything will be supplied and we can transport them to neighboring states within three hours. They are located in Meridian Mississippi. If you are able to help, please contact us here
