First off, I want to thank everyone that has reached out and shown their love and support.

Sunday morning around 1 am our worst nightmare happened. I went down to fill the wood stove around 10:30 pm and give a few pets before telling everyone goodnight. Our personal dogs went out around 11:30 pm and everything was fine. Around 1 am our neighbor came to the door and knocked. I immediately knew something was wrong, but never thought it would have something to do with us. He had already been to the shop and called 911. Sadly by the time we caught it, it was too late. For those of you who have questioned whether or not we had a fire alarm, yes we did. The Boone County Fire Department was amazing. I know it wasn't easy having to see what you saw but we are forever grateful.

The pups that were in the shop weren't just "fosters waiting for their forever home", they were our family members that were treated like our own until a home was found. In the shop that night there were 26 fur babies.

Sunday and probably even Monday, I was determined that we were not going to rebuild, how could our family ever go through something like that again? It wasn't until I had multiple people tell me they were grateful for what we had accomplished and hoped that we would rebuild. Hints this fundraiser.

All donations would go to the cleanup and removal process and then the rebuilding process. We want to build again but we can't do it without you! All donations are tax-deductible!
