Long Island Shetland Sheepdog Rescue, Inc. (LISSR) recently rescued seven neglected Shelties from a hoarding situation. There are 4 females and 3 males. Besides being vaccinated and having bloodwork done, they all must be spayed/neutered. From neglect, their teeth are so bad that they all need dentals. We are hoping none of them will lose any teeth, but that seems doubtful.

This is a huge undertaking for our Rescue, and we are hoping to get some assistance with their veterinary expenses.

These poor babies are so shut down right now, and some are not eating.

Please help us help them to get healthy and happy so they can move on to a better life.

BREAKING NEWS!!! LISSR got in four 7 week old puppies and one 1 yr. old this week The situation they came from was not the best. The four puppies are all under four pounds. Needless to say they all will need proper nutrition, vaccinations, socialization and when ready spayed and/or neutered.
