Well, let me tell you about a very special project. “6 of em,” the name of our team, consist of a group of students who are currently attending the Los Angeles County High School of the Arts also known as “LACHSA”. Our group has been given the task to participate in a highly collaborative competition to create a short film over the course of 64 hours in one weekend. Crazy right!? The final selected films will premiere at the LACHSA Cinema 64 hour Film Festival on Friday, September 20th. This is a very exciting festival to be a part of and a great opportunity for students to showcase their own work. Are you interested in helping us?! Well, please do!!! Hi! We are a group of passionate high school sophomore filmmakers named Eli, Judah, Lilly, Lukas, Marcello, Otis, and Ripley aka "The Pinheads". We go to the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA), and we are competing in our school's annual 64 Hour Film Festival. For this film festival in early September, we will have 64 hours (one weekend) to write, produce, shoot, and edit a film based on a series of prompts. Sounds crazy, right? That's why we need your help.

In order to continue being able to use professional equipment and participate in amazing film festivals like 64 at a public high school, we rely on kind donations from people like you!

Hi!! Let me introduce you to the latest non-boyband group of the century, STARSTRUCK ! We are a team of 15-16 year old filmmakers at the Los Angeles High School for the Arts. This fundraiser is for the annual 64 hour film festival, where 10+ teams have 64 hours to write, shoot, and edit our own short film.

Each group has their own wacky theme, and STARSTRUCK is no exception! But we need your help the next two weeks !! Your money goes to better equipment for our cinematic arts program and puts our team ahead, helping us make the best movie we can.

Antarctica is the most beautiful place in the world. Thats why it is so cold, to keep people out of there. To keep it for Santa and scientists (Santa lives in the North Pole [the Arctic], not Antarctica, we are not in the business of spreading lies). What is the second most beautiful place in the world? The #1 arts high school LACHSA. Who are the most beautiful people in the world? The people in Expedition A6921. But they need money! Money to give to the 2nd most beautiful place in the world. "Please Do Destroy" is a film team at LACHSA that consists of 1 senior and 2 juniors trying to make a film. Hello everyone! Our names are Angela Alvarado (12th grade,) Jimena Mendez (12th grade,) Helena Augsberger (12th grade,) Henry Kaufman (12th grade,) Annelise McDaniel (12th Grade,) Benjamin Kim (12th grade,) Echo Brejcha (12th grade,) Juliana Diaz (11th grade,) and Santiago Orellana (11th grade.) We all go to school at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) and we study Cinematic Arts + Echo studies in the Techincal Theater program, Benjamin studies Visual Arts. The 9 of us are coming together as a team to participate in the 64-Hour Film Festival at LACHSA. The 64-Hour Film Festival is a fun and exciting filmmaking project for high schoolers at LACHSA. Teams of students compete to make a film over a 64-hour time period - from Thursday at the 64 Hour Kick Off September 5th, 2024 and we submit our films by 8:29 AM Sunday September 8th.

Teams of filmmakers are assigned a genre, a character name, a prop, a line of dialogue, a sound effect, a camera angle, and have 64 hours to create a short film containing those elements.

The films are then screened at a premiere for friends and family. Recognition awards are given out at the screening.

The LACHSA Lions, which consist of Oliver Perner, Oliver Brown, Shiloh Williams, Stella Denton-Cardew, Rowan Walsh, Sadie Hays, Wolfgang Gegenhuber, and Luca Rauch are raising money for LACHSA'S 64-Hour Film Festival. Our group has to make a film in 64 hours. We will be working the entire 64 hours, day and night to create a legendary film so it would really mean to us a lot if you donated to us and to our school. We are the 64-hour film fest group "Farewell My Lovelies"! Our group is made up of young filmmakers who attend the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (the #1 art school in America)! All of us are deeply committed to film and have found a place that can help develop our dreams of working in the film industry. The school's biggest event, the 64-hour film festival, gives students the opportunity to make a film in 64 hours! Pre-production, on-set work, and postproduction are all done in 64 hours! but before the festival starts we need to raise money! The money that we raise will go to the LACHSA foundation and make the Cinematic Arts program a place that can better support young artists. The more money we raise the better equipment we get to help make our 64-hour film! The 64-hour film festival will help us all progress as artists and people! "The God Squad" is a 64-hour film group at Los Angles County High School of the Arts that consists of 7 Seniors trying to make a film. Team Background:

In 1889, a team of 2 archaeologists embarked on an ambitious expedition to uncover the truth behind ancient legends of a group of gods, who are rumored to be hiding out in the very desert they’re searching in. Their target is to find the fabled "God group," a collection of five deities whose existence has long been debated by scholars and dismissed as mere folklore. These gods, revered and feared in equal measure, vanished from the world centuries ago, leaving behind only fragmented tales and mysterious artifacts.

In their quest for proof, the archaeologists do more than just uncover history—they accidentally resurrect the gods themselves, with the combined knowledge of the team of archeologists and the god group…
