HELP US KEEPS CHILDREN'S ORPHANAGE FROM CLOSING!

Over the years, the orphanage has grown significantly. Haiti unfortunately is facing political, economic, social and health crises. We were hit with multiple earthquakes and hurricanes. Covid 19 had a devastating impact on Haiti's food security. Not to mention gang activity is now rampant in our town. Due to this damaging combination of turmoil, THE LOVING GOD ORPHAN IS NOW IN JEOPARDY!!!. These children have NOWHERE to go. We are forced to have cuts and shortages. We had several food banks that were providing food and support that are now closed due to violent attacks from local gangs. Our volunteers have dwindled because people are in survival mode and have to turn to their own families. Several other orphanages closed and/or transferred their children of paramount cases over to other orphanages including the LGO. Things are extremely difficult but WE ARE NOT GOING TO GIVE UP!

The orphanage uses about 3k a month to support the children's daily needs and pay the five Haitian employees who dedicate their time to the children. We pay for education including school supplies, uniforms, tuition...etc) of all 17 children. We provide breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner and supper for the children. We provide clothes, shoes, medicine, doctor's appointments and anything that's essential to their daily needs. We also want to implement a program to support their transition into becoming productive members of society once they are 18.

We opened this gofundme because WE ARE DESPERATE! The LGO is facing CLOSURE! These children should be playing and doing homework not thinking about where their next meal will come from. Kids should be kids. We won't give up please join us in the work we are doing to provide these children with a safe environment that they can call home.
