Help Save this Building for the Community
This 1837 former Congregational Church is for sale. It sits in Lyndeborough Center in the small town of Lyndeborough, New Hampshire. We need you to make sure it remains a building the town can continue to use. The Lyndeborough Historical Society is spearheading the campaign to secure funds so that this can become a town-owned building. Our goal is to raise $156,000, and we have already raised almost $90,000 of that total. Through this fund-raising effort, we want to make sure that this important building remains a vital part of the Lyndeborough community. We want to save this building for future generations in Lyndeborough, since it is such an important part of our town’s character. We fear that if we don't purchase it and save it, it could be sold and torn down or made into a garage or storage area. We want it to remain part of the community, to become a public building so that everyone can continue to use it and celebrate its history, its beauty, and its acoustics. If you want to help preserve this important part of Lyndeborough’s identity, please help us raise the needed funds to purchase it for town use.
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Lyndeborough Historical Society, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us!
