Madheshi Association in America is fundraising
MAA Fundraiser for Nepal Fire Victims
May 12, 2024
The recent fires in several villages in Nepal have left many families homeless and are in desperate need of help.
In Jaralhawa Gachhi village, over 110 homes were destroyed, leaving families without shelter, food, or clothing.
Similar tragedies unfolded in Chimati (100 homes destroyed), Bishnu (70 homes destroyed) and Khultuna, where strong winds fueled massive blazes that consumed homes and belongings, claiming lives and causing immense suffering. The situation is dire, with many families struggling to cope with the loss of their homes and possessions. 3 people were killed in 2 separate fire incident in Saralahi district.
In the aftermath of these devastating fires, the affected communities urgently require support to rebuild their lives. Many families have lost everything and are now facing an uncertain future. Immediate relief efforts are underway to provide essential supplies, shelter, and medical assistance to those in need. However, more help is needed to ensure that these families can recover and rebuild their homes and livelihoods.
That's why we, at Madhesi Association in America (MAA) is launching this fundraiser to support the victims of the recent fires. Your generous contributions will help provide vital assistance to families who have lost everything in these tragic events. Together, we can make a difference and bring hope to those who are suffering.
Let's stand in solidarity with our fellow Nepalese in their time of need.
