Bring Solar Power to Energy Poor Communities
Even small changes like being able to light a school with solar electricity can make an incredible difference to so many kids. That's why I decided to raise money to buy and build the We Share Solar Kit. A We Share Solar Kit is a portable solar panel which once it is done being built will be sent to a rural school, or community building in Sub- Saharan Africa, producing light for 15 years or longer. 100% of funds will go to the purchase of the Solar Kit and your donation is tax-deductible.
After the purchase of the kit, through Madrona Insitute, I will be working with my mentor, Samuel Garson, who is the STEM and science teacher at Friday Harbor High School. He has past experience with building these kits and we estimate the project will be done by December 2021. With your donation, you will receive photos of the completed project in the community you have helped. Thank you for helping me bring green energy to people in need!
