Make-A-Wish International

British actor Charlie Cox has had a very successful career in television, movies, and theatre. He's especially known for his portrayal of Matt Murdock on several seasons of Marvel's Daredevil and, more recently, for his time on the Harold Pinter play, Betrayal, which was sold out in London before coming to Broadway. For almost a year, as many of you can attest, Charlie came out to meet fans at the stage door and thanked everyone individually.

Charlie's birthday is December 15th! In lieu of sending cards and gifts, we've created this GFM to say thank you, and to give him something back for his endless generosity!

For the next week through next Saturday, December 14th, we're hoping Charlie’s fans will come together and help raise as much money as we can for this very worthy cause.

Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, serving nearly 50 countries on five continents. Since 1980, it has granted more than 415,000 wishes to children around the world. 

Last year we raised over $3000 for the Foundation Fighting Blindness and it was absolutely fantastic! I'm hoping this year we can continue to make the world a better place, and give Charlie the best birthday present by collecting donations in his name toward the wonderful Make A Wish International foundation!

The Heroes of the Storm gaming community is not only the best gaming community but, truly, the most generous! In 2016, the first Heroes Charity Brawl blew away our $1,000 goal with a final total of $2,801. Then, in 2017, we crushed our $3,230 target, hitting $5,337 by the end! With this year’s goal set at $5,000, what children’s wishes can we make happen this year?

This livestreamed charity event will feature Heroes podcast hosts forming random teams to play unique game modes, celebrating just how fun Heroes of the Storm is! Tune in for your chance to win GIVEAWAY PRIZES and a chance to play on stream!
