Make-A-Wish Oklahoma

Hi, my name is Duncan, and I am a swimmer at Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This weekend I will be competing in the State Championship swim meet. In addition, I will be partaking in the time-honored tradition of shaving my head for championship meets -- but with a twist. My goal is to raise $3000 for Make-A-Wish Oklahoma. When I raise the first $600 I am going to get frosted tips. When I raise the next $600 I am going to buzz the sides completely off. With the next $600 I will etch designs into the buzzed sides. Following that, I will use the next $600 to get a mohawk. And then the last $600 will be to finish it off and be completely bald. Pictures will be posted daily. 

All money that I am raising will go directly to Make-A-Wish Oklahoma, a non-profit organization that grants life-changing wishes to children suffering from critical illnesses. I am doing this for the kids who can't compete at a swim meet because they are in the hospital as well as the kid who isn't bald by choice but bald because of cancer treatment. I have been fortunate to be blessed with my health, and I hope that by raising money for this wonderful organization I can make a positive impact on a child who isn't as fortunate as I am.
