Joseph Parks is fundraising

Support English Language and Summer Camp in Ukraine
Hello, my name is Joseph. I am a teacher, coach, Peace Corps Alumni and volunteer for Make it Possible Ukraine. I created this Go Fund Me to raise $30,000 for internally displaced children who are currently living in shelters in the City of Lviv, Ukraine. The money donated to this fundraiser will provide direct and actionable support to the children and families hurt by the war in Ukraine.
Make It Possible Ukraine is a 501(c)3 registered nonprofit organization “dedicated to providing educational opportunities and fostering joy and positivity in the lives of Ukrainian displaced children, particularly those residing in shelters in western Ukraine.” Make It Possible programs allow children to participate in creative workshops, English lessons, entrepreneurial classes, and summer camps.
Due to the war, there are often disruptions to the electricity and heating in the facility where they offer their services. The proceeds from this campaign will be utilized by Make It Possible to rent a building equipped with generators, ensuring a steady supply of heat and electricity. In addition, these funds will cover the acquisition of classroom essentials like desks, chairs, technology, and more. As winter is rapidly approaching, this new facility becomes crucial in providing a secure and warm learning environment for children. This space will enable them to receive the most effective education possible despite the ongoing conflict.
