Establish Women Warriors Permanent Museum Exhibit
From the days of the Hawaiian Lua women warriors to the Japanese Samurai women who kept their village safe, help us to raise funds to establish a permanent section in the Martial Arts History Museum to focus on the many heroic warrior women throughout time. The African Dahomey, Albanian Nora, Celtic Andraste, Chinese Hua Mulan, British Catherin of Aragon, Filipino Kahabagan, French Joan of Arc, Indian Obavva, Indonesian Dhien, Islamic Abi Bakr, Malaysian Sari, Mexican Adelita, Mongolian Khutulun, Native American Lozen, Samoan Nafanua, Scottish Scáthach, Spanish Aragon, Swedish Blenda, Thai Chan, Vietnamese Trung sisters, Viking shieldmaidens, and more.
Our goal is to begin by raising $5,000 of the $20,000 needed to create this new permanent section in the museum.
Kumu Lua, Michelle Manu, is heading up this permanent Women Warriors Exhibit project.
The Martial Arts History Museum is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and your donations are fully tax-deductible.
