Each year, our 8th graders at Mary McLeod Bethune Day Academy (MMBDA) culminate their educational journey with a transformative class trip that embodies our mission of fostering global-mindedness, citizenship, and lifelong learning. This year, they have the incredible opportunity to travel to Panama—a destination that reflects their studies in Spanish language acquisition, environmental science, liberal arts, and cultural appreciation.

For many of our students, this is more than just a trip—it's a chance to connect their classroom learning to the real world. From exploring Panama's rich history and ecosystems to deepening their Spanish skills through immersive experiences, this trip will help our students identify their talents, interests, and future goals as they prepare to excel in high school, college, and beyond.

With 74% of our students eligible for free and reduced meal services under USDA guidelines, we need your help to make this dream a reality. Your donation will ensure that every student, regardless of financial background, can participate in this life-changing experience.
