Mary's Place Seattle

Please help the McKenzie Team in our efforts to raise funds to purchase a lawnmower for Mary's Place Burien location. They're currently unable to maintain over 4-acres with their current equipment.

Our team is attending their Summer of Service Event on June 21; while the equipment would be used during this event, it would remain with Mary's Place for future maintenance. Please consider helping us in our efforts to work with such a wonderful organization, that truly changes lives for women and children in the greater Seattle area!

I am Leo Teferi, Working with my CGI Teacher Ms. Dutton at Mount Rainier High School, trying to help raise money against homelessness in Seattle. Homelessness is a big topic, and it affects everybody. Big Cities across our country are filled with camps and tents, needles and cigarettes on the ground, and crime. Homelessness in Seattle has been a huge issue in our community recently, and lots of people are furious, knowing that lots of others mostly ignore this crisis. We as Seattleites have gotten very used to seeing Homelessness on the streets, and have lost hope in trying to change things around for the better. That is why this fundraiser is helping raise money to help the homeless with needs (Clothes, Food, Proper Shelter). All Donation money will go towards the organization "Mary's Place", In Seattle. Anything helps. Thank you!

(The donation goal is very small since it is for a School Project, but it would be wonderful if more was donated! :) )
