Foundation of the New Masjid Salahadeen (Phase 1)

Dear brothers and sisters of our community and to those who live afar, thank you all for joining us today for our Fundraiser for Masjid Salahadeen of North TX in Plano we appreciate the support from every single one of you!
A quick background story of Masjid Salahadeen. Masjid Salahadeen is a non-profit organization (Tax ID: 46-5750019). We began taking students and teaching Islam and Quran since 2014 alhamdulillah, with very limited supplies and and even more limited location, but by the grace of Allah (SWT) over the years the doors kept opening and we were able to establish a temporary masjid located on 6100 K. Avenue and Spring Creek in Plano, TX to continue to teach Islam, provide a place for worship & prayer, help those in need, provide a place for janazah funeral prayers, and so much more.. Alhamdulillah.
Our focused goal is to provide a FREE weekend class for our Muslim youth and all youth who are local and would like to learn more about Islam and strengthen their faith. All of our teachers and board members are volunteers. Alhamdulillah we now have 70-80 students attending every Saturday & Sunday from 11AM to 2PM. We teach them how to read the Quran and write in Arabic, good Islamic character, how to strengthen their faith, Duas, Hadiths and much much more. We know everyone will benefit from this service but like anything, it all comes with a cost. Alhamdulillah our community and communities all over the country have supported us to allow us the financial stability we need in order to continue.
However, due to COVID-19 we have had to close our doors recently and give back the key that way we do not pay rent on a location we cannot reopen right now. But, it has given us the opportunity to use this time to start building the New Masjid Salahadeen foundation at the 2 acres of land that we now currently own and have paid off. The location is 4030 Split Trail Rd, Plano TX 75074 right behind Sam's Club on Spring Creek near 75. In shaa Allah the minaret that our new masjid plan will contain will be visible from highway 75! Our goal is to reach 250,000$ by Eid to start the foundation of the new Masjid. We have already raised 145,000$ from those of you who donated (specifically for the new masjid) during the virtual fundraiser! In shaa Allah by Allah's (swt) grace on this Ramadan and these powerful nights of Laylatul Qadr we can achieve our goal and even EXCEED IT! Excess will be used for Phase 2 of building.
We are hoping to reach this goal by Eid in sha Allah (SWT). Thank you all again so much for all of your continuous support & contributions. We really appreciate every single one of you ~ thank you for your time.
