For a FOURTH year in a row, Metafold will be providing over dozens backpacks from black-owned brands, including Blended Designs, as well as other school and household necessities to METCO families in the Boston area. As in previous years, the distribution of the backpacks will take place during the Annual Black Market Fair happening in August of 2024. The Black Market Fair was inspired by the "Black Dollar Days" initiative that became popular in 2019, focusing on generating wealth and the desired circulation of the dollars spent by black and brown families.

With the generosity of our friends, supporters, and community, we've been able to assist more and more families each year since we started.
