Our emergency departments are currently challenged by a shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) at a time when we are seeing a large influx of COVID-19 patients and expect the volume of patients to significantly increase over the next few weeks.
Health care workers are at increased risk of exposure to coronavirus and severe infection, due to inadequate PPE.
MetroWest Emergency Physicians is fundraising to purchase our own PPE and supplies to allow us to protect our staff and provide the safe care that our patients expect and deserve. While the hospital is diligently working to obtain PPE for the medical center, we felt compelled to help in the search to protect our staff and the community that we serve.
Your donation to MetroWest Emergency Physicians will keep our front-line emergency department staff safe and healthy so we can continue to provide high quality emergency care for the MetroWest community during the coronavirus pandemic.
MetroWest Emergency Physicians Inc., a 501(c)(3), is a group of physicians and physician assistants that have been providing 24/7 emergency care in the MetroWest Medical Center emergency departments in Natick and Framingham for the past thirty years.
