The Blue Ridge Zoological Society of Virginia, Inc. dba Mill Mountain Zoo promotes education and conservation, while maintaining the highest standards of animal care. The Zoo advances three core beliefs: excellence in the implementation of the highest standards of animal care; conservation management of endangered, vulnerable, and threatened species; and enhancing science education through its animal collection. Mill Mountain Zoo strives to provide an enjoyable outdoor recreation experience for visitors, within the context of an educational organization dedicated to the natural sciences and management of captive animal species.
