First BIPOC All Ages & Family Retreat!!
This is the first Plum Village tradition BIPOC All Ages Retreat!
The Morning Sun community, diane little eagle, Kenyatta and Marisela Gomez are pleased to offer this wonderful opportunity, where we will get to offer friends of all ages many chances to refresh themselves and to connect with a spiritual community, benevolent ancestors, and nature inside and around us. We will create a retreat where children and adults can both enjoy the fruits of the practice and nature. This fundraiser will support BIPOC families find resilience in community so that their light can continue to shine in the world.
Due to historical and current pressures that society places upon BIPOC peoples to survive in an unjust system, there is often not a space for BIPOC practitioners to take care of themselves. This is the first Plum Village BIPOC all ages retreat in New England. Offering dana to this BIPOC scholarship fund will help heal racialized trauma in the present moment. It can also help us be active participants in balancing equity through giving and receiving. If you are able, please support this community. Anything from $5 to $500 is so beneficial.
