Our friend, family member, co-worker, and fellow runner/hiker/climber/volunteer Robert Bondurant has gone missing in the Agnew Meadows/Devils Postpile/Minarets area in the Eastern Sierras in California. Mono County, Madera County Search and Rescue, and the Sheriff's Departments lead the search on foot and with helicopters for Rob as we speak. They helped us locate his vehicle, which is at Agnew Meadow Trailhead, and we believe his intended goal for his run/climb/hike on Thursday, Sept 29th was Clyde Minaret. It's a burly mountain with a decent approach and 4th and 5th climbing-class summit routes. Rob is a very experienced ultrarunner and mountain athlete with numerous mountain summits throughout the country yearly. He's also the nicest guy ever!

Let's find Rob! Today is day two of the search in the area. Please let SAR know if you have been in this area anytime since Thursday, Sept 28 and have any info about Rob or saw anything that could be helpful. Looks like a very fit runner. 5' 4" ~145 lbs Massive calves. Probably wore an orange shirt, white hat, and black Solomon backpack. He has a distinct running/walking gait with his feet pointing outwards and a stiff upper body.

100% of donations will go to funding the local Search and Rescue organizations to help in this search and all the very important work they do for the community. Thank you!
