Montessori at Sandy Ford

It's Read-A-Thon time! I'm raising money to benefit Montessori at Sandy Ford and any donation will help make an impact. This is our 9th annual Read-A-Thon and it is basically the only fundraiser we have each year.

I enjoy the challenge of reading extra minutes during this time. The Read-A-Thon started on December 16th and I’ve started off strong. I already read 6 of these and well on my way in the 7th.

I want to thank everyone that has participated before. It really means a lot to me and my school. I’ve been fortunate that I have had the most sponsors and/or collected the most money for my class every year and I couldn’t have done that without you.

Hi Family!

We are helping our school, Montessori at Sandy Ford, with its annual Read-A-Thon fundraising campaign. Together, we have pledged to read an hour and a half everyday for 30 days. This is a big challenge!

If you would like to sponsor us, you can either donate a set amount here, or you can contact us (or my parents) with a per minute pledge - then, when the Read-A-Thon is over, we'll let you know how much we read.

We just completed our Read-In where we read all night long with our peers! Teachers and parents were there who stayed awake to check off our minutes every half

hour.

This is our school's main fundraiser of the year. The money we raise will go towards bettering our playgrounds and outdoor spaces with a cool obstacle course.

We have committed to trying to replace screen time with reading and audio books for a period of every day. The Read-A-Thon ends on a Saturday, and the night before we have a dinner and sleepover at the school and can stay up and read all night long if we want to! Teachers and parents are there who stay awake to check off our minutes every half hour.

This is our school's main fundraiser of the year. The money will go toward outside playground and athletic equipment and other enhancements for our education and growth!
