- 200 WATER FILTERS PACKS - To Impact 10,000 People: $50/Pack
- 200 SANITARY PACKS - To Impact 200 Girls: $25/Pack
To benefit Mumzy's Children Relief Foundation, and any donation will save lives, provide better health and education to children and villages living in extreme poverty; which will EMPOWER them to contribute better in self-sustaining community projects aiming to lift themselves out of poverty.
THE BARRELS OF BLESSINGS:
We’re filling 55 gallon barrels with packages of water filters & reusable period pads.
IMPACT & COST OF WATER FILTERS
- Each filter provides CLEAN WATER to 50 people. We’re using great filters from SAWYER in collaboration with Sukhi222 INTERNATIONAL as a follow up to a previous deployment donated to us in September 2021. In rural Cameroon where 90% of diseases (Diarrhea, cholera, dysentery, typhoid, polio, E. Coli, Hepatitis A, Salmonella..) are caused by contaminated water, this is a huge blessing!
- Each WATER FILTER costs $22.50 + $2.50 Shipping & Transportation + $15/Bucket + $1 Labels + $6 Installing Costs $3 Misc. Expenses (car repairs, food, fees...)
- TOTAL WATER FILTER’S PACK: $50.00
IMPACT AND COST OF WASHABLE PERIOD PADS:
- Girls (& women) are too poor to afford period pads. They uses heartbreaking methods to help themselves (such as seating on a whole in the ground to menstruate or after delivering a baby)
- Girls stop going to school as soon as they get their period (too embarrassing for them) especially most don’t wear the panties (poverty)
- In some cultures, having a period means becoming a woman and ready for marriage (unfortunately early marriage is still practiced but pads are good enough way to fight against it). With pads, girls can keep it a secret, which can delay their mariage and permit them to go to school uninterrupted just like boys do.
- The pads are reusable, organic, comfortable, soft, washable, waterproof (bamboo charcoal)
- Each REUSABLE PERIOD PAD costs $2 (We donate 5 to each) $10/Girl, Cotton Panties $4.00 (2 panties each) $8/Girl, Antibacterial Bar Soap $1 (Dial 2 each) $2.00/Girl. Sealable bags to keep sanitary pads: $3.00. Transportation Expenses & : $2.00
- TOTAL SANITARY PADS: $25.00
