Today, we had to say goodbye to our favorite dog. Piper was one of the smallest dog we have ever met but easily filled the rooms and our hearts with her big personality.
Piper has been our family dog for the last six years. When we found her, she was ready to live like a dog with two tails. As a great traveler, she traveled from Coast to Coast and visited 30 states. She became a real foodie, her favorite meals were romanesco broccoli, fennel and Greenie crepes. Her favorite space was the kitchen where she would never miss an occasion to keep the floor clean.
Passionate sleeper, she would spend time in the Californian sun during the day and with the kids at night. Piper was a wonderful companion and interesting therapist, she would listen in silence and leave the room when we cry.
Now she left the room for good and it is difficult to not cry. We met Piper at Muttville, where older dogs get a chance to live a second life. We would like to thank this organization by creating a fundraiser in honor of our dog that you all have met and known in this past years.
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Muttville, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
