
Education and Training Through Amateur Radio
The Nashua Area Radio Society provides many STEM learning activities and projects for young people. We've held Youth Expos at local Ham Fests, we've held a special License Training classes for young people, we've helped the Students at Hudson Memorial School talk to an astronaut onboard the ISS, we've supported STEM learning through our High-Altitude Balloon Projects, and we've provided Amateur Radio based STEM learning experiences in local middle and high schools.
We also provide extensive Amateur Radio License Training and Skills development programs. We've licensed or upgraded over 385 people through our Amateur Radio License Training Classes, we've provided Ham Bootcamp activities to help new licenses get on the air and develop their skills. We provide Technical Training on all aspects of Amateur Radio and more.

The Nashua Area Radio Society is a 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to creating STEM learning opportunities and emergency communications training through Amateur Radio. We have been recognized as a leading contributor to the Amateur Radio Service as the 2019 Dayton Hamvention Club of the Year.
