To enhance and preserve the quality of life for all residents of Nassau County, Long Island, by working with landowners and other interested parties to conserve land. Nassau Land Trust's primary project is Crossroads Farm at Grossmann's in Malverne. Since July of 2010, Crossroads Farm has benefitted from the experience and dedication of its farmers and staff. With the invaluable help of volunteers, they have worked tirelessly to rejuvenate the soil and restore the buildings and infrastructure. As a result, Crossroads Farm at Grossmann’s has become a thriving, certified organic farm that employs effective biodynamic growing techniques—ensuring the health of both the land and the community.
