Asian Elders Are Invisible & Hurting. Please Help!

Asian American elders are invisible and the most vulnerable in America today.
They need our help and there's an organization doing really important work to help them. Please join me in supporting the National Asian Pacific Center on Aging (NAPCA). NAPCA has for more than 40 years served the nation by preserving and promoting the dignity, well-being, and quality of life of Asian American Pacific Islanders (AAPI) and other diverse communities as they age. Founded in 1979, NAPCA is the only national AAPI-serving nonprofit org focused on the needs of adults aged 55 or older, particularly with cultural, linguistic, and economic barriers.
NAPCA's services span across all 50 states with their mature workforce training programs to help older adults living in poverty overcome income insecurity and through their multilingual phone Helpline to help older adults experiencing language barriers receive support with access to programs like Social Security, Medicare, emergency resources, and book COVID-19 vaccine appointments.
Throughout the pandemic, NAPCA has received over 3,000 calls to the Helpline, partnered with Lyft to provide free essential deliveries for homebound older adults, and now is working to provide free and safe transportation for elders to and from COVID-19 vaccine appointments.
