PTT is a space designed for creative and passionate DeafBlind artists. As DeafBlind artists, we believe that we can equally express art in our own ways. We produce plays by DeafBlind people for DeafBlind people.
Our event budget of $20,000 covers the cost of cruise tickets and a week-long rehearsal in Port Canaveral, Florida prior to the cruise for eight actors and co-navigators. We hope to raise half through crowd funding and half through corporate sponsorship.
Costs include:
$2,000 - Port Canavarel rental house 8/14 to 8/22 (shared beds)
$800 - Ground transport ($50/trip at 16 trips)
$3,200 - Food ($50 per person per day at 8 days)
$8,000 - Cruise tickets (8 at $1000 each)
$3,800 - Co-navigator payment
$2,200 - Misc./Unexpected Expenses
PTT is working towards non-profit status. Until then, we are under the fiscal sponsorship of the National Theatre of the Deaf Inc, a 501c3 non-profit. Donations will be received and disbursed by NTD on behalf of PTT. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
