North Chatham Elementary PLAYGROUND
NCE Parents, Grandparents, Friends and Supporters,
The playground equipment at North Chatham Elementary looks old and tired... because it is! It is the original equipment from when the school was built 27 years ago. The state does not provide any funding for playgrounds at public schools, leaving the responsibility to raise funds with the parents and communities.
Let's raise funds to make our playground as awesome as our kids are.
The PTA began raising funds last year through the Fun Run Challenge. And we raised about half as much money as we need. The PTA wants to expand the current play area, add a half court basketball area, replace play equipment and make ADA equipment available so children with physical disabilities can enjoy recess too. We need your help to make this dream a reality!
The NCE PTA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and all donations are tax deductible. If you can we would love your support in helping to build a better playground for our community’s children where they can learn and grow in ways outside of the classroom.
