Help Drew learn how to fund the movement
Thanks for taking the time to check this out.
You know how all the social change causes we care about seem to do such great work, all on a shoestring budget?
I know for me, I've tended to avoid even learning how to improve my resource generation and fundraising skills. Mainly because I just care about getting the work done.
I'm lucky I get to do this work with Network Delaware.
But then I realized recently, how much more could we accomplish if there were others like me who dedicate themselves full time to organizing for change?
So I decided to pick up a book called The Generosity Network and it completely changed my view of fundraising.
I realize now I was looking at fundraising in a transactional sense, but really it's about partnership. I want to collaborate with you, hear your ideas, learn from your expertise, get introduced to your connections, etc.
I decided I wanted to learn even more about this approach so I applied to the "Course in Exponential Fundraising " hosted by the book's author Jennifer McCrea. She's been a professor at Harvard and Stanford, specializing in philanthropic leadership for social change.
I just got accepted and I'm really excited to bring that knowledge back to the movement here in Delaware. Not just for Network Delaware, but also for other change agents here in the state.
That's where I need your support (if possible).
The course is $4,950.
That's a little more than I can cover myself or Network Delaware can do at the moment.
So I'm wondering if you would be able to donate $25, $50, or $100 (or whatever you can afford)?
Thanks for taking the time to read this and hope to see you soon,
Drew
p.s. After I complete the course, I'm going to invite anyone who donates (or anyone you invite) to a Network Delaware resource generation/fundraising training session based on what I learned from the course. I'll want to share the lessons with you right away!
