New Hanover Humane society

Want to join us in making a difference for our local less fortunate animals? In lieu of wedding gifts we are raising money to benefit New Hanover Humane society, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.

The New Hanover Humane society is a small not for profit animal shelter whose goal is to find forever homes for homeless dogs and cats.

For my 30th birthday, I'm raising money for the New Hanover Humane Society! Animals show us unconditional love and companionship, and they deserve it back. Any time an animal is abandoned, abused, or euthanized due to shelter capacity, it's the direct result of someone failing to take responsibility or act in love. We need to do better for our fur babies.

In 2024, surrenders to animal shelters increased throughout the county, as did length-of-stay for dogs of all sizes and breeds. The New Hanover Humane Society provides animal sheltering, adoptions, emergency services, and lost and found services for Wilmington's dogs and cats. Our local shelter needs us now more than ever!

I can't think of a better gift than saving dogs and cats in our town. For my 30th, please consider making a gift to Wilmington's homeless and neglected animals.
