New York Homeowners Alliance Corp. (NYHOA) is ardently working to amend Local Law 18—a law that facilitates unfair restrictions and hardships on 1 and 2 family homeowners. Our goal is to secure new legislation to create reasonable carve-outs in the current Housing Maintenance Code to preserve the rights and autonomy of honest, hardworking, middle-class homeowners over their private residences.

We are steadfast in our efforts to lobby the city council, draft new legislation, and, if necessary, pursue a federal lawsuit to rectify the current situation. However, to propel our efforts forward, we urgently need your support.
