I'm running the David Goggins 4x4x48 Challenge (
Link ) as a personal test to myself. I'm raising money to benefit North Fulton Community Charities Inc, as accountability.
The challenge is to run 4 miles, every four hours, for 48 hours. I'll start at March 5th at 2300hrs.
My personal donation plans:$50 for each mile I run in over 11 minutes
$3000 if I fail to complete the event
$1000 minimum personal donation
Possible ways you can donate:
A dollar amount for every mile I run under 11 minutes.
A fixed donation if I finish
A fixed donation because NFCC is a good organization and deserves the support
I have never attempted anything like this. I am in relatively good fitness but I haven’t been training my running for a while. My average 5K time was 21:24. I imagine my running times will start out under 11 minutes but increase significantly in the later laps. I imagine the challenge for me will be mostly a mental one. Will I have the fortitude to get up and run 4 miles at 0300 on 7 March?
I will be posting screenshots of my split times from the Nike Run Club App on Twitter and Instagram. @goblinsreach on both.
