Dusty's Thanks
As many of you know, Dusty had a terrible wipeout at Backdoor January 8 ,2018. He was basically driven into the reef, knocked unconcscious, suffered 4 skull fractures a broken jaw in two places, and his lungs filled with salt water. He was held under for 4 waves, and was thankfully rescued by fellow surfers (Keoki Saguibo, Uluboi (Ulualoha Napeahi) , Mikey Redd (O'Shaunghnessy) and the North Shore Lifeguards. He is fortunate through the speedy response and training of his fellow surfers and lifeguards at Ehukai to be alive and after intensive surgery and almost 2 weeks in ICU, he is on his way to a full recovery. Our wish is to pay it foreword to those who helped save his life. Please share whatever you can to help support the North Shore Lifeguard Association. The funds raised here will help further education programs like CPR, basic water extraction and first aid to help save others. We all think that something like this won't happen to us, but when it does you want people there who know what to do. We are forever grateful to those who played a role in saving Dustys life. #Dustystrong #payitforeword #savealife
