Help North Shore Rescue Squad Fix Their Ambulance
You can make a difference by donating today to North Shore Rescue Squad No.1, Inc.
On Friday, August 12, 2022, North Shore Rescue Squad No. 1 Volunteer Ambulance in Staten Island had their only ambulance vandalized while parked on the property of their base. The vehicle sustained extensive damage to the windshield, hood, roof, driver-side door and window, warning lights, fenders and the box. We are currently working on repairing the ambulance, but the ambulance will remain out of service and unable to serve the Staten Island community while repairs are made. We are asking for donations to help offset the costs of repairs and for funding for a structure in which we can secure the ambulance in the future. The sooner we can get our only ambulance fixed, the sooner we can return to providing for our community.
North Shore Rescue Squad is a Volunteer Ambulance Service and a participating member in the FDNY EMS 911 system. We serve the North and East Shores of Staten Island, NY and have been doing so since 1972. In addition to our Emergency Response operations, we cover Community Events, perform Medical Demonstrations and offer Medical Transportation services. All donations are tax-deductible, we are a registered 501C3 Non-for-Profit.
