Let's give limb different kids a better start
Hi friends!
As many of you know, I was born with a severe hand deformity, medically known as Symbrachydactyly – but commonly known as just having one hand…
For the past few years I’ve wrestled with the best way to support the ‘Limb Different’ community, particularly the kids, who are too often completely stripped of confidence before reaching adulthood for being ‘weird’, ‘freaks’, ‘gross’ etc.
A few weeks ago, I figured it out… by causing myself as much physical pain as possible, for money!
Therefore, on December 11th 2022, I’ll be running the PPTC Endurance Fest Ultramarathon – 50 miles of icy winds and frosty roads right here in Brooklyn, NY.
Here’s the important bit – I’m running to raise money for The NubAbility Athletics Foundation (https://nubability.org/mission/), an incredible organization focused on encouraging and inspiring limb different kids to excel.
I’ve done hours of research, spoken with the founders (shout out Sam and Jana Kuhnert) and can say with absolute confidence that supporting this organization will make a meaningful difference to the limb different community.
