OAKLAND GIRLS NEED YOUR SUPPORT!
HELP SEND OAKLAND 14U ELITE VIPER GIRLS TO REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS IN REDDING
In years’ past, Oakland didn’t field highly competitive teams able to succeed at the highest levels of our sport. NOW WE HAVE THE ATHLETES AND ORGANIZATION TO COMPETE –WE NEED CONTRIBUTIONS TO HELP GET OUR VIPER ELITE GIRLS TO THE REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS IN REDDING, CA.
The 14U Elite team will be headed to compete in the Regionals hosted in Redding this coming July and are asking all Oakland Community members and businesses to help us through direct sponsorship.
This is a unique event in that the parents lead and plan ALL fundraising efforts to help raise enough money to support this incredible team. All donations are tax deductible as allowed by law and will go directly to support this specific team with their costs for travel, food and other necessary items. As a non-profit organization hyper-focused not only on keeping costs affordable but also making the program inclusive to all girls regardless of socio-economic basis, we rely on the generosity of the Oakland community to help us.
We invite you to come watch and cheer on our Oakland girls as they work hard this summer to represent Oakland and all its diversity!!
More about the Oakland Program:
The Vipers’ softball program is the Oakland Girls Softball League’s (OGSL) competitive travel team. The Vipers’ teams showcase the most skilled players within the 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U and 14U Elite divisions. The mission of our program is to provide organized fast pitch softball opportunities to girls in the Oakland/East Bay communities with the overall goal of building confidence, promoting sportsmanship, developing individual skills, encouraging friendship, and providing leadership opportunities via a fun and positive athletic experience.
Our Vipers program offers the girls a highly competitive playing environment throughout Northern California along with skilled coaches who provide a positive space designed to enhance the girls’ skills and encourage them to take their sport to the next level.
