Organized by Ohio Police K9 Memorial
Help us move the memorial!
In November of 2019, the Village of Amelia voted to disincorporate leaving the memorial without a home. The trustee's of Batavia Township stepped forward and provided a new location at the Batavia Community Park on Clough Pike in Batavia Ohio. This is a lovely spot and will serve as the memorial's permanent home. But the move will be expensive and will cost us all the funding we have raised for our mission. We will be paying $23,400 in concrete alone and an additional $4,000 for moving the walls.
Protection4Paws raised and donated $4,000 toward the move and IMI Concrete donated 10 yards of color for the concrete. But we still have a long way to go to recoup this expense.
Please consider donating so we can continue our mission to erect and maintain a public memorial to police canine officers who served the state of Ohio and to provide training and equipment to regional public police agencies.
Thank you!
