Olmoti Clinic/Our One Community

My friend and I are hiking the Tahoe Rim Trail solo this summer, and I’m hiking to raise money to benefit the Olmoti Clinic/Our One Community. The Tahoe Rim Trail is 170 miles long and circumnavigates Lake Tahoe. We think it will take us 12 days to complete the hike. We will keep you updated on our progress!

Earlier this summer I visited Tanzania for the first time and spent time at the Olmoti clinic, a nonprofit organization based outside of Arusha, Tanzania that supports the local Maasai community with healthcare, education and more. I was amazed at the kindness of the Maasai people and the work the Olmoti clinic has provided for this community. I would love to help make the lives of these wonderful people better and am hiking in their honor. Any donation will help make an impact, so thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause!

More information about Olmoti Clinic/Our One Community: We build schools, a hospital, provide clean water and send Maasai kids to high school and college in Tanzania. We are now providing solar power and smoke-free stoves to huts in the village of Olmoti. All donations go entirely to these projects in Tanzania. Our One Community is a 501-c-3 not-for-profit charitable corporation.
