Oneida Athletic Hall of Fame
The Oneida Athletic Hall of Fame inducted its first class of nominees in 2018 and continues to induct classes each year. Since then, a new class of inductees has been inducted in the fall at Oneida High School. In addition, in the springtime, Hall of Fame College Scholarship Awards are given out to deserving OHS Seniors each year.
The Hall of Fame Kiosk is located within the OHS, in the hallway adjacent to the Fariel Gymnasium and is the permanent home for all inductees, their stories, and records, including the many videos/pictures that have been submitted.
Founding members of the OHS Almuni were Ed Meacham, Peter DuChene, Christine Conte, and Mark Ponte. The mission of the Oneida Athletic Hall of Fame is to recognize the accomplishments of the inductees, fund college scholarships, and develop pride in the rich athletic traditions of our school. These role models exemplify Oneida’s commitment to academics, community, and athletic excellence.
