Operation Green Team Foundation is organized to operate exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of the 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and more specifically to support the governing body of the City of Huntsville, by carrying out the following missions: 1) To promote landscape beauty, litter prevention, and environmental consciousness 2) To provide services in support of greening Huntsville, including litter prevention, clean-ups, beautification, energy efficiency, recycling, alternative fuels/transportation, resiliency, environmental land stewardship, water conservation, gardening, nature engagement and education, and thus contribute to the community betterment. 3) To educate and promote interest in environmental stewardship
