More information about Operation Revamp, Inc: At Operation Revamp, we believe art heals hidden wounds, and our mission is to provide art and related opportunities to aid in healing mental health issues for Veterans, military family members and others suffering from trauma-related mental injuries in functional creative art studios; to raise awareness of psychological scarring and benefits of artistic practices in healing, and to provide resources for those suffering from the hidden wounds of trauma in partnership with other agencies and non-profits.

The veteran's art center is still recovering from funding losses due to the cancellation of all events due to Covid 19. Our income dropped to less than half, but unfortunately, our expenses did not. Because volunteers completely manage Operation Revamp and the Veteran's Art Center, we were not eligible for most of the available recovery grants and funding.

We are now experiencing minimal monthly expenses of almost double our monthly income and trying to take care of urgent repairs to the roof and our inside lighting.

Funds will be used for these repairs and to pay the monthly mortgage and utilities. Without funding, we will be forced to liquidate most of our art supplies and equipment to sell the building.

You can make a difference by donating today to Operation Revamp, Inc. Our roof has been a 2 year project for repair and we are not there yet. With donations we have received we have manage to get some patching done and have slowed down some leaks but until its fully repaired we now have water getting under the old coating that is rotting the wood and making things worse.

We have a new estimate and eager roofer who really wants to help. Lets make it happen. The new estimate is for a 30 year TPO with a 15 year warranty. The estimate is for $38,000 and an optional upgrade for an additional $24,000.

Our original estimate was $41,000 for a 'repair' (10 year warranty) or $60,000 for a whole new roof (25 year warranty). Other less expensive options were to obtain the materials and find knowledgable installers, and equipment but even this route is still around $30,000, and the equivalant of the repair listed above.

To date we have had about $4500 donated and $2500 raised through the haunted hustle by PT for Veterans. A portion of these funds was paid out for repairs to temporarily slow down the flow.

We need to get on this in the spring and we need your help to make it happen.
