Operation Underground Railroad (OUR) is a beacon of hope in the darkness of modern human sex trafficking. Established in 2013 by Tim Ballard, a former Homeland Security agent, OUR operates globally with a mission to liberate victims from the clutches of exploitation. Through innovative tactics and unwavering determination, OUR conducts undercover operations to rescue individuals, dismantle trafficking rings, and prosecute perpetrators. Each successful operation brings a glimmer of optimism, demonstrating that with persistence and collaboration, it is possible to make a tangible difference in the fight against human trafficking.

At the heart of OUR's mission is a commitment to restoring dignity and empowering survivors. Beyond rescues, the organization provides comprehensive support services to aid in the recovery and rehabilitation of victims. From medical care to counseling and vocational training, OUR strives to equip survivors with the tools they need to rebuild their lives and pursue a future free from exploitation. This holistic approach instills a sense of optimism and resilience in survivors, demonstrating that despite the trauma they have endured, there is hope for a brighter tomorrow.

Your contribution to our Families Reunited Fund will directly aid OUR’s three strategies for operation: equipment, travel, and K9 programs. Camera equipment, recording devices, software. Travel expenses for undercover operators to dismantle international sex trafficking operations. OUR has sponsored Electronic Storage Device (ESD) detection K9 programs, in which K9 units are being trained to identify unique chemicals found in digital storage devices that store child sexual abuse material. Providing aftercare for survivors requires resources. Victimized children require medical attention, specialized therapy, legal advocacy, education, and post-program training. The Families Reunited Fund will direct contributions to sex trafficked victims who are rescued and returned to their families. You can help restore families!

Facts You Must Know:

As many as 1 in 5 girls will experience some form of sexual abuse before age 18.

Up to 85% of online offenders are hands-on abusers of children.

As many as 1 in 20 boys will experience some form of sexual abuse before age 18.

90% of children who suffered sexual abuse were violated by someone known to the family.

Children are most vulnerable to child sexual abuse between the ages of 7 and 13.

According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, roughly 800,000 children are reported missing each year in the United States -- that's roughly 2,000 per day.

About Operation Underground Railroad

Founded in December 2013, they've gathered the world's experts in extraction operations and in anti-child trafficking efforts to bring an end to child slavery. O.U.R.'s Ops Team consists of former CIA, past and current law enforcement, and highly skilled operatives that lead coordinated identification and extraction efforts. These operations are always in conjunction with law enforcement throughout the world.

Once victims are rescued, a comprehensive process involving justice for the perpetrators and recovery and rehabilitation for the survivors begins.

O.U.R. salutes our nation's law enforcement officers and prosecutors at the federal, state and local levels who protect our country's children. Law enforcement professionals skillfully investigate, arrest and prosecute those who violate children. Our nation's police efforts to protect children in the U.S. are light years ahead of many, if not all other countries. O.U.R. acknowledges the expertise and extraordinary work done by these dedicated men and women who bravely battle the scourge of child sexual exploitation. O.U.R. shares the mission to save children and seek justice for those who victimize them, therefore O.U.R. is committed to enhancing law enforcement efforts by providing resources where budget shortfalls prohibit a CSAM (child sexual abuse material), child exploitation or human trafficking operation from going forward. O.U.R. will also provide or facilitate child exploitation investigative training in U.S. jurisdictions where a need exists. Collaborating with law enforcement will reduce duplication, promote best practices and avoid other potential issues which might arise without close coordination. O.U.R. is privileged and honored to support our nation's heroes in this important cause to deter, disrupt and dismantle child exploitation and the trafficking of children in our nation's communities.

Join our team as we compete in a 48 hour Ragnar race in Mt. Zion to stand up and speak out against these unimaginable crimes. We are running 140 miles this weekend to raise money for Operation Underground Railroad; an organization that works with Law Enforcement Officers, and former military and intelligence personnel in 28 countries and 48 U.S. States to put an end to human trafficking. Their mission is to free victims of human trafficking and provide aftercare services to those who are rescued so that they can heal from the trauma and thrive in their lives!
