Orange County Model Engineers is raising funds to replace our Hank Hornsveld Trestle. This trestle bridge was built over thirty years ago and has served us well. However, it has deteriorated (aged) to the point it is unsafe and needs to be torn down and replaced. The cost of this replacement, not including member donated labor is estimated to exceed $25,000.and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us and the community.

The Covid 19 situation has prevented us from our normal offering of free rides to the general public two days a month foe over a year.  It has also caused us to receive -0- donations for the last year to help defray the costs of operating.  Now we are at a critical point that we should be reopening for the free public rides within a few months, but the need to replace our trestle in critical.
