Oregon Donkey Sanctuary Northwest

We are building a healing space for donkeys to offer their loving guidance to people in need of comfort and compassion.

The Oregon Donkey Sanctuary Northwest offers a forever home for all the donkeys on the sanctuary. We also network with other local rescues to help rehome donkeys in need in the Pacific Northwest.

It has been a dream of the sanctuary founders to start a therapeutic program with our delightful herd of donkeys. Although many members of our herd had a rough start, they are sweet and gentle with everyone who comes to visit. We have seen and experienced the healing potential of the herd first-hand and wish to extend this to people living with disabilities of all kinds. With a new indoor facility, we can start our therapy program and offer this to the community year-round.
