Double the Blessing! 

Support our local restaurants and give to our Backpack program by donating to this cause. The money raised will be used by Our Neighbors’ Place to purchase gift cards from River Falls restaurants to provide a meal for a family in need. Please help me in providing a takeout meal to a family and blessing our local restaurants at the same time!

The Backpack Program is open to any family in the River Falls School District who would like help feeding their children (4k - 12th grade) when free and reduced lunches aren't available. Weekly backpacks contain 7-9 pounds of non-perishable food and a voucher for a different perishable item each week (meat, milk, produce, eggs, bread). There are currently 114 students in the program.

This program typically supports students on the weekends and during school breaks, but with the COVID-19 pandemic, the Backpack Program is functioning as a primary source of food for many local children. At the same time, we know our local restaurants are struggling to maintain their businesses. This is an easy, efficient way to help 2 local groups who need support during this time.
