Pali Gateway Project
Pali High Gateway Project invites you to take part in a fundraising campaign with fellow alumni and Palisades community leaders.
The Pali Gateway Project was inspired by Rose Gilbert's desire for a Bronze dolphin to be placed at the front of the school to welcome students. Doug Suisman, a Pali parent and nationally renowned urban planner, not only installed the statue but (with the encouragement of the school) continued with much needed safety and aesthetic campus improvements. With the financial help of the Pali Booster Club and the creative help of Pali parents, the first 2 phases are now complete.
Now there is an independent campaign to complete the next and much more comprehensive phase of the project. The Palisades Booster Club has pledged $50,000 to this project if we can raise matching funds by August 1, 2016. We are looking for support from Pali alumni, alumni parents, local business owners and the neighborhood community to finish this amazing project.
The Bridge to the campus is the most important part of this project and will greatly improve the safety and security of the students of Pali and the comunity members who utilize the campus daily. The area where the students pass now is so narrow that it causes students and community members to have to walk into the street which makes it very dangerous, especially at drop off times and pick up times. City and public funds are not available for this part of the project, that is why we desperately need your help to move forward.
The students, teachers, parents and communtiy members thank you for your help!
