Jon's putting his legs to the test at his first marathon, the LA Marathon on Nov 7th, 2021!
More importantly, we're hoping to raise money for the PAP Foundation before the race. This cause means so much to me so any contributions are welcome -- Thank you!!
Pulmonary Alveolar Proteinosis (or 'PAP') is a rare and at times debilitating lung disorder, affecting patients breathing and daily lives.
The PAP Foundation is a small-but-mighty, non-profit patient advocacy organization dedicated to finding a cure for PAP, and to improving the lives of those affected. They promote PAP research (including upcoming clinical trials!), and provide information and support for PAP patients, healthcare professionals, and the public.
In working with the team I'm constantly floored by their engagement with the community and resourcefulness to help improve the lives of their patients. All proceeds from this fundraising will go towards PAP patients in need, specifically those who've been forced to take on high treatment costs.
