PAW BVI FOUNDATION - USA INC

My name is Sharon and I am raising funds for PAW BVI. I am a director of PAW BVI Foundation USA, which helps to raise funds for the island pups and kitties in the British Virgin Islands. I have fostered many gorgeous island pups and found them amazing homes in the US.

In honor of my recent birthday, I am trying to raise funds to help pay off PAW's vet bill.

PAW BVI is a non-profit in the beautiful British Virgin Islands.

Our mission is to decrease the number of stray, unwanted and abandoned pets through our FREE SPAY/NEUTER programme.

We are so close to reaching a huge milestone = FIVE THOUSAND dogs/cats spayed/neutered through our programme.

Our aim is to raise $5000 to celebrate and help us get to the 5000 mark (we are currently at 4873!!!)

Spay/neuter is the only humane way we can address the HUGE overpopulation issue.

Sam Thompson is taking on the infamous Tortola Torture THREE times in a row, to raise funds for PAW BVI.

The running challenge will cover 163km (over 100miles) over three days, climbing 13,385 feet, with temperatures usually a toasty 30 degrees Celsius.

All funds raised will help PAW BVI help more dogs and cats.

PAW BVI is a non-profit organization on the British Virgin Islands, that aims to reduce the number of stray, abandoned and unwanted dogs and cats in the BVI, through a spay/neuter programme and by partnering with US rescues.

To date, PAW has provided free spay/neuter for over 4000 dogs and cats and sent over 2000 to partner rescues in the States.

Sam was one of the initial 5 to complete the double Torture in 2022 and he's back for more punishment and has added an extra spin round the course! Please support him and the dogs/cats of the BVI.

This year, a group of BVI runners are attempting to run the Tortola Torture TWICE, over two days! The Torture is a 34 mile (54km) ultramarathon that combines a lot of Caribbean heat, some crazy hills (total ascent = 6,587 feet/ 2000 meters) and a lot of suffering!! Our crazy runners will be doing the route in reverse starting late in the evening on Friday 14 April, and then joining the other competitors on race day (15 April) to do the course in the official direction. So that's 68 miles/108km in two days, with no break - - all to raise funds for PAW BVI!

PAW BVI is a non-profit organisation in the British Virgin Islands (BVI), that aims to reduce the number of stray, abandoned and unwanted cats in the BVI, through a spay/neuter programme. Every month, PAW sponsors an average of 50 spay/neuters and sends 25-30 pups/kitties to partner rescues in the USA (through the "PAWS in the Air" programme.)
